The End of an Era:

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has come to an end.  After publishing 10 year anthologies and letting new writers to play in the world of Star Trek, Pocket Books has decided to discontinue the contest and anthology.

For the last four year, I have entered the contest and failed to get the editors attention with the exception of this year sort of.  This year I did not make the  anthology nor the alternate winners list but two of my stories made it into the 2nd read pile with Dean W. Smith the editor.  This is the first time that I made it into the 2nd read pile.  I made it a wee bit too late to do any good.

Thanks to some encouragement from friends and family especially my friend Jeanne.  I have started work on some original fiction.  I have made the decision to branch out more but with hopes of getting my foot in the door with Pocket Books.

Works in Progress:

My partner in crime and I are deep in the process of writing the book that I mentioned previously.  This book has taken on a life of its own.  We have received alot of support and information from the various tribe members of the Hoh Indian Tribe.  We could not be doing this project without them.
